Lee Chin Evolution 1001 Pro
Due to Inter-county status order commitments our Pro Range models are currently unavailable
The Lee Chin Evolution 1001 Pro Model Hurley comes in a blade finish with raw linseed oil giving a both tanned and chiselled look. A P.40 grit scuffed bas enhances touch and improves performance. It’s Bas design width is excellent for control allowing a forgiving sweet spot with the overall outline profile giving the hurl a tidy look and feel in the hand.
The handle is slightly increased from a regular fit size yet still made in the traditional round oval comfort fit introduced by Philip Doyle Jnr™️ over thirty years ago.
The Lee Chin Evolution 1001 Pro has a touch of lower end balance to aid striking essential in free taking duties. It carries a higher volume of wood yet a mid/light weight. This is achieved by selecting only the highest Grade AA planks with the correct wood density. Such planks are rare and account for one in four hundred milled tree’s. These planks are hand selected to find the correct density, balance, visual and fibre grain tolerances.
The PRO 1001 Evolution is Lee Chin’s current hurl which will continue its development in our workshop under Lee’s guidance. There will be ongoing modifications from November to May on this model which may occasionally include slight size changes. Models purchased throughout the year may have slight changes or modifications in line with ongoing development. Lee Chin’s club team is The Faythe Harriers and he is currently Wexford Hurling Captain.
Lee Chin Height 1.83 m and he currently uses a 33 1/2” hurl.
The Lee Chin model comes with a XL Lightning Grip applied and a free replacement grip. Lee replaces his grip up to three times a month to ensure maximum consistency.
